While filming this scene, Michael Praed (Robin) forgot his stroke and was biffed in his crown jewels quite painfully. This shows up in the blooper/out-take reel found in the DVD set. This remains the best re-telling of this English outlaw character.

Stumbled across the Trilogy on the shelf of a small town library here in the U.K a few years back. Once i got home n started watching i couldn't believe what i was seeing n how the hell id never heard or seen it before. Hardcore stuff,stripped down n nasty. The director went on to do "Drive" ,i think, which is a favorite of mine.

I like the way the policeman 'cuffs' the villain. The word seems to have gone out of use in that context. Nobody cuffs children any more (more's the pity).
